Beginning July 1, 2026, one NIHIA board position will be open.
We encourage you to nominate yourself or another qualified HIM professional for consideration for the position. Serving on the NIHIA board is an opportunity to help shape the future of our organization, support the membership, and advance the HIM profession.
Board service also offers valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth while
allowing you to contribute to a strong, lasting organization for future generations of Health
Information Management professionals.
The board position to be filled for the 2026–2027 term is President-Elect.
We are excited to welcome new talent and leadership to NIHIA. To be considered, nominees must have an active NIHIA membership and hold a current AHIMA
credential.
