SCHOLARSHIPS
NIHIA is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to students in our community. Scholarship awards have been established for recognition and economic assistance to outstanding, deserving students. Students who meet the requirements for eligibility and wish to apply for a scholarship are encouraged to complete an application.
The number of scholarships granted each year and the monetary amount of each will be determined annually by the NIHIA Executive Board. The Executive Board will review all applications and select the scholarship recipients.
Scholarships offered by NIHIA
Two $1,000 Scholarships will be offered to HIM students in their second year of study or who are enrolled in an HIM baccalaureate program.
One $500 Scholarship will be offered to an HIM student in their first year of study.
Scholarship applications are due by January 1st, 2027.
Eligibility requirements and criteria are included on the application form. NIHIA is not compelled to elect an annual recipient. Scholarships offered to those in an HIM baccalaureate program can only be earned once.
